People keep talking about "respectable" battlers.. I don't respect none of ya'll to be real. That's why I can say the shit I say and sleep like a baby at the end of the night. Like oh shit, this dude did something 20 years ago.. and? I got hella battles, awards, league champs, none of that matters if my bars are trash. Quit talking about respectable when ya'll only like people who like what you like. The only thing Lay brought back with him is the concept of dick riding and the fact exits every league the same way every time. Mind you, I loved his shit way back when I first started on the site and the comp was wild. He wasn't one to be at the top or anything but I thought him beefing with everyone was entertaining as a young dude, but his rep has not been one I cared for since. He ain't change much either.

“Wasn’t one to be at the top” like I didn’t beat Feeble multiple times (when he was regarded as that dude) and basically retire his ass. But I was always in too much fuckin legal trouble in my young dumbass days to be around on here for long enough periods at a time lol.

When I say “respectable battlers” I really just mean motherfuckers who actually have a reasonable understanding of what’s a cohesive punch and what isn’t. You have proven you do not. This shit is only subjective to an extent, but at a certain point this craft transcends mere opinion and something is either a solid punch or it’s not.

And I don’t know what your accolades are or when you received them, but it must have been when this site was experiencing a colossal downswing. I went to vote on your FL battle last night, but after reading your verse I realized I couldn’t even do so without it looking like hate. I thought every single bar you wrote was downright bad, and that’s the truth. I don’t say that to be mean or vindictive. I say it to illustrate that I don’t believe your analysis of text battle bars can be taken seriously.

You writing the shit you write, and then voting to say that some long bar “LAME-MAN’S terms” garbage was seriously better than my punch is where the line had to be drawn for me.

yea emma/thing are both really goo, hulk is good w namor and peni is good w rocket on efense, angela seems pretty bad so far tbh. only heros i have lord are psy/starlord/pun i think, close on a few others but i play on a bunch of accs so hard to get lord that way cuz i end up playing w friends who aren't very good lol
