Super dope battle. Just to be sure: I didn't have any preferences going into this, but I think Bag took it. Both had dope lines, but imo this is something of the best I've seen from Bag.. Guess he's been saving up from not being in the tourney himself.
Like already the first line just sounds good and flows really well. You's a goof /flew the coop, and then topping it off with a cock-a-doodle-do wordplay. The plywood bar I didn't get at all. Maybe if it would have been Far-to-reply-would, but still not something that would have been on my radar to catch it, I think. And I'm not sure I get the dopeness of getting a sheet of factory plywood, but I guess there's a double entendre there, so ok. I´For-mal-to-hide was sick. Slay-climbin shit I didn't get either, but I like that it's a setup bar, because as a straight punch it may be a little involved to know how sewage is treated (but what do I know?) The L bar was something I would probably not normally fuck with, but somehow it just worked really well. Thinking outside the box and everything. Cock washing hobgoblin ... sick flow. And the Soviet Russia joke to end it was banging too. So just a really solid verse, imo.
On Slayerrs first bar, qua what I recently wrote in RW chat, I think maybe I just favor something more naturally sounding, cuz when he says "you ain't man, Bag", I think I would usually say "you ain't A man, Bag", but maybe it's also just my non-nativeness kicking in. A little bit the same with teeth A floor ride, but I ain't mad at that, though, because that bar was banging either way. Firing squad / Hallows vid was fire. The feminane also confused me because I don't know if that's some slang word, but I guess it was just supposed to be straight feminine? Naruto episode punch was cool, though (after I saw the explanation). Ender was pretty funny as a concept, I guess, with some good references to the whole tourney.
Overall, I just enjoyed reading Bag's verse more because of some hiccups in the wording/spelling/flow of Slayerrs verse that's probably very idiosyncratic to the way I read stuff. Dope stuff from both gentlemen, though.
