I always like ur rhyme scheme… I wish I could make my verse flow more like yours.. I might try working on that.. I always think put more effort into my concepts I need to up my flow… cool verse tho

I liked Mid’s flow, and it’s always nice to see a fresh approach. I don’t think they necessarily need to emulate what others are doing with setups and wordplay based punches etc, just dropping some cold shit can potentially work fine. In that case it needs to do what it does extremely well though, as it can be a bit of an uphill battle to go against the status quo. Wordplay-dense drops are kind of a staple, especially in written battles where flow doesn’t carry the same weight as it would in audio formats.

This was one sided. I can appreciate the flow from Midwest but the lack of punches made this battle a no-contest. There were a lot of lines that were close to punches but they were just to upfront or simple to be effective.
