Week 8 Recap

Contender's Match - Cody Nash (5-1) vs Mimic (3-2)

I expected a close match up, and we got it. Both veteran's traded shits in a competitive bout, but it was Mimic notched the win and advances to the champ match.

Contender's Match - Justice Grimm (4-3) vs Kill Spree (3-2)

Justice Grimm took to the ring hoping to earn a second champ match in a three week span, but the veteran Kill Spree outscored him the judges. Spree moves on to face Mimic for the strap.

Wk 8 - Knoxville (2-2) vs Plot (0-0)

Knoxville did his best Daffy Duck impression. Seriously, you had 48 extra hours compared to previous weeks. Plot picks up the DQ win with a verse that would have likely earned him a KO.

Wk 8 - Plethora (0-0) vs Dominate (0-0)
This clash of veterans turned out yo be a doozy. Both participants had a barrage of clean jabs & even mixed in some haymakers. Easily one of my favorite battles so far this season, and the clear BotW.


Wk 8 - Zunto(2-0) vs Joe Boston (1-3)
"You showing or what?" - Zunto befire not showing. Not sure what happened here, but Joe picks up a DQ win here. Shout outs to the homie Boston, who stays voting. Congrats on the W, even if it ain't how you wanted it.

Wk 8 - Malediction (2-5) vs Fresh (5-2)

Fresh of a mental health day, Fresh returns mentally rejuvenated. He made quick work of the league's most charming member, scoring a KO.

Dope match up. Dom finds himself in the contender's match off the momentum of a VotW performance. In his way, Freshn who's been quietly dominating and holds the 2nd best record of the season. Dominate 55/45

Another veteran clash. Plot looks to improve his streak, while Nash looks to rebound from a Contender's Match loss.Nash 60/40

Justice Grimm 4-4 vs plethora 2-2

Another match up w/ contendership implications. Dont ket the .500 records fool you, these two have gone toe to toe with the best in the league. Hard to call. My guess is Plethora 60/40.

Joe Boston 2-3 vs Malediction 2-6

Probally BotW. I got Mal winning, unless someone famous dies. Then its a Boston KO. Malediction 87/13
