Up Against The Reigning Champ, Auspicious. 'Spicious Took
Upon A New Style In This Match, And It Seemed To Work To
His Benefit As Voters' Agreed. Set A New Feel To The Piece.
Pot1ent Said It Best When He Quoted That It Was Alot
Closer Than He Had Expected. And It Was. Yet, Auspicious
Retained His Title In This Match, And Is Set To Face
White Lightning In Next Weeks Title Defense.

This Match Was Dissapointing To Say The Least And I Believe
The League Will Agree. Sureal, In The Eyes Of Those Who
Have More Experience In The Field Of Topicals, Won This
Hands Down. The Votes Proved It Too.. Yet A Lot Of Controversy
Surrounded This Match. It Was Evident That Sureal Won, Yet
Some More Than Others Disagreed. In Anger Of The Herbing
Sureal Was Taking, He Checked Himself Out Of The League
Giving White Lightning His Title Shot. Saddened That He Is Gone
Yet We Have To Keep On Keeping On. We'll See If WL Can

Another Great Battle Here In This Weeks Match Set Ups. Although,
It Was Really A Battle Between Deacon And Baron, Hi My Name
Is, Really Stepped Up For This Bout. Impressed As We Were, He
Couldn't Really Match Well Enough To Play With The Big Boys.
Deacon Came Out Of His Shell To Show Arbey What Kind Of Things
He Had In Store For Cam. Yet Cam Answered Back. And According

Ill Mental: So Auspicious, what are you feelings toward the competition in SS as of this past week?
Auspicious: Alot of ppl have upped their game. Mystery is really starting to upp his topical ability's. Yet, its sad to see Sureal leaving.
Ill Mental: Yes, i agree... any insight as to why he is quitting the league that he is a large contender in?
Auspicious: Well hes getting herbed basically. The newer kids in the league dont see his material how veteran topical heads do. I'd agree after the match he had with WL
Ill Mental: Thats really a shame. How did you feel about your champoinship match with Fgee this previous week?
Auspicious: Really dope. Fgee suprised me. Knew little about his work, but really impressed me. much respect to him
Ill Mental: I have noticed alot of very good records in the SS league lately, do you think there will be more titles added soon? There are alot of contenders now-adays.
Auspicious: Never thought of that before. But it sounds coo wit me. its up to mad. I wouldn't mind seeing it
Ill Mental: I really like the recent addition of the SS hall of fame... It shows alot of the newer topical heads who used to and are the top writers, who's idea was that?
Auspicious: Hall of Fame? i didn't even know.. whoops. Good idea none the less though, props to whoever thought of it
Ill Mental: Lol... well i didn't know myself untill i entered the SS office today.. yes much props...Anyways... with the recent rise of members... i saw at least 7 match ups where neiter opponent showed, what will be done about this?
Auspicious: I think its retarded. If you sign in, show up damnit. Its bullshit and it makes the league look bad. I think we should leave the participants as is, and not let any new heads in unless we KNOW they'll show up
Ill Mental: So who do you think had the strongest verse this week?
Auspicious: Besides me lol. Hmm its a toss up really. I think deacon baron god and fgee all came really strong this week. Many competitors are really stepping up but i have to give it to those three.
Ill Mental: I agree, i have noticed alot of the competition is getting ALOT better, i give props to MadDawg_MKN this week he had a rock solid verse against me, i wish i would have gotten my verse done early, but a emergency arose and i had no time. Props.
Auspicious: Agreed. Most underated in my view
Ill Mental: Can you make any connections between the competitors that were in RBTL and those that are in SS?
Auspicious: Some of us who were in RBTL are in SS.. Hence, Sureal.. sand is being put into this. Alot of old school heads. I'm not saying that if you were RBTL you are dope than those who are in SS. Things change, and so do styles and people.. we just cant forget those who inspired us.
Ill Mental: Good point..anything you'd like to see as the league progresses?
Auspicious: Well, later in the season i'd like to see the tourney come back. Also, where the hell is maven? he needs to get back here too. But my props deff go out to Mad Man and Deacon for sticking around to help.. I hate everytime we gotta restart the damn league.
Ill Mental: Agreed. What do you think about the topics?
Auspicious: If your picky, their a pain in the ass. But to be a topical writer you have to take the topic as it comes and embrace it, not complain about it.
Ill Mental: : So true. who would you like to see get more recognized for their topical abilitys?
Auspicious: I'd like to see tak and pot1ent stretch themselves and show us that they can step up to everyone else. Calda merda also. The kid is right in my underated column with Maddawg mkn. I mean if you got skill.. dont hold it back. Make the league good for fuck sakes.
