What a calamity, damning in blasphemy
This is what has to be progress atrophied
Can't get it pass me to sidestep this blitzkrieg
The very mention causing constrictive pain
Shift of vain, without motion spawn intrigue
Reprieve an addictive brain, vindictive claims
With the name shouldn't dawn this crown worn
Brow torn from the lopping of a frown's morn
Popping to what's now scorn when the sun yawns
My mind trickles, subtracting what the sum vawn
Cutting to impress, less is the subjective matter
    Perspective perception of conjunctive laughter
The faster I attack, the stronger it rises
A monger comprise of the regenerative atoms
Vituperative jargon withers importance of its lie
That laziness only present recuperative fathoms
I bet future pictures will have tongue exposed in jest
As bellowed chuckles fill the gallows with zest
"Albert Einstein, Scientist Emeritus, from head to cuff
Will be only remembered for the flair of his hair cut!"

Re: SS 12 WK 4: Dadiator vs. 143

Fuck it. My opponent didn't try, so I'm just going to jot something down.

    -----------------------

The Manhattan Project.... that's not what I wanted.
I just set out to attain a level of understanding.
Energy is mass and the speed of light in vacuum... squared.
It was meant to be seen in awe, never a cause to be scared.

But when the concept of deeper power was presented...
bureaucrats pushed everything to the edge and never relented.
Japan attacked with a sword with a brutal massacre...
thier punishment? A first hand preview of the end of days.

Was it a good thing I died in 1955... I think it was.
I'd give away my Nobel, Copley, and Franklin medals away...
I had a tough time with things in life, but I was never evil
I died a miserable man that my ideas would be wielded against people...

I'd always wanted my picture to be labelled "Great Mathematical and Physicist mind".
But the evil in power will add an asterisk...

*Man who introduced the way to mankind's ability to self-destruct.

    Kaboom

That was one my applied theories to the world of science.
But it will be the last sound of our species.

143--your last two lines made me laugh really. I liked this but I wish you would have been more creative with the topic because you are one of the better writers in this league. I truly enjoy your vocabulary and your multi rhymes. I feel like you just phoned it in this week.

But when the concept of deeper power was presented...

Japan attacked with a sword with a brutal massacre...

Papiator--these lines I quoted above were the best lines in this piece. your structure threw me off but all in all I loved where you look the piece creativly I think you didn't try. I thought this was more of a poem than anything and I hope to GOD you post this in the poetry section. This piece was hurt though with a basic rhyme scheme or a lack of rhyme scheme at times. you are truly a intelligent man I expected a bit more from you.

This battle is hard to decide because both of you really phoned it in this week. I was hoping for more from you.

    V/Dadiator barely....

The way the thing looks was specifically done, as Einstein was an erratic type who had mediocre penmanship. I figured the random placement of lines would be close enough to mirror that effect. And... yes. Your observation of effort was correct. No offense to the league though with that, though.

Re: SS 12 WK 4: Dadiator vs. 143

very strange battle but not a hard one to choose lol.

143 - somewhere, somehow i have to believe that there's a coherent writer in you. Even moreso, i believe there's an audience for your brand of writing. You understand also that your brand of writing is not very popular with readers but, still, i say, do you because it's your own personal style - however understand that not everyone has to like or agree with it. With that said, i just couldn't understand what was being discussed besides the last two lines. There were, however, some connotation to phsyics i.e. "Motion", "atoms", even "sums?" lol. Connotation isn't enough to secure coherency but i do believe there was a method to your madness, i just don't understand it.

Dadiator - despite declaration of minimal effort (which i don't believe) i thought this was pretty well thought out. At first i thought u lacked in flow but then i realize the unorthodox method applied. ex:

thier punishment? A first hand preview of the end of days.

Was it a good thing I died in 1955... I think it was.
I'd give away my Nobel, Copley, and Franklin medals away...
very interesting to see this done in topical as a 3 line technique is more prevalent in text battles (at least early years of text battles), but it was pretty ill. The strength of this verse was in the inherent duality of Einstein - his mind in particular; an avatar of creation but, in a sense, an object of destruction as well. very nice.

This wasn't hard to vote on for me and my vote goes to Dadiator due simply to clarity. I'm familiar with 143's work and i know he's capable of much more so this doesnt hamper his talent level in my eyes. good stuff, guys. salute.

This I can prove. Go to the Lounge and find A Tale of Two Moos. That was something I didn't half-ass. A cross-referencing will show the truth.

Re: SS 12 WK 4: Dadiator vs. 143

143's verse was dope, but aside from blitzkrieg being a German word and the last two lines obviously... that could have been about anything, and I'm still not sure what it WAS about.

Dadiators verse was dope too. I like that it didn't rhyme, I like the structure, it painted the topic perfectly.

Idk if my vote counts: cuz I'm not in the league, but

    V/ Dadiator

I really only came here because i didnt believe dadiator actually writes.

Re: SS 12 WK 4: Dadiator vs. 143

143 I liked the rhyme shceme for the most part, but I wasn't to fond of the story you were telling. It didn't really mean anything to me, it just sounded like semi intelligent ways of explaining the synapses in his brain, and not really delving into what you would if you were him. So I feel like you were off topic a little bit.
@Dadiator I actually kind of enjoyed this piece, I like the approach you took of the whole atomic bomb perspective..

"I had a tough time with things in life, but I was never evil
I died a miserable man that my ideas would be wielded against people..."

That was the dopest bar imo.

All in all it was a pretty dark piece, but it was well written and it was more on the topic than 143.

v/Dadiator because his verse made more sense and seemed to fit in with the topic more.

Re: SS 12 WK 4: Dadiator vs. 143

143- As stated before we all love your work when you put in 100% effort, so this was slightly disappointing. I enjoyed your rhyme scheme, as usual; no great flaws there. Stale, but efficient. Outstanding diction as usual.
    Vituperative jargon
Lol, only 143. The ending was very comical, I loved it just seemed very tame than usual. I guess it was the topic presented.

Dadiator- I would have personally took the chance to absolutely destroy 143's verse but you just matched him up on his effort level -- no real judgment can be casted against you for that frustration. I enjoyed the visuals, honestly. I find that text battling needs more flamboyant/exotic/extravagant sort of style sometimes -- without crippling the content. So, I enjoyed the layers & the nice little "Kaboom". Nothing really quotable, you just attacked the topic at a good enough pace where's though 143 didn't really go after it. I commend you for at least dignifying him with a response & providing the league with another complete battle.

5-0. I'm still not sure what 143 was trying to do, but I gave him the whole week to write something relevant. Oh well.
