i certainly do not believe in the big bang theory.... not enough evidence to convince me.... but maybe the universe has been living on for infinite adding new galaxy and others disappearing due to merges....... maybe the new galaxy are created by other galaxy that are just to big to hold on to it,.......

I believe existence was created by God...
I have no idea how old, when or whatever else. Probably billions, trillions of light years.

this is how i feel too.

and to josh, even if there was a creator god, that still doesn't give us much answers to anything along those lines. If there is a god it's possible that it just creates shit and has no plans for us, maybe we are a science project it's only observing. Maybe it forgot about us and moved on, who knows...and if there is a plan, knowing that a god started the universe still doesn't tell us that plan/meaning.

If Science ever found there was undeniable proof that there was a god who made shit, I still wouldn't go beyond a deism / pantheism type god in my beliefs.

with that said, I don't believe in god jibba jabba, which obviously means I don't believe in any universal meaning of life. I think it's healthy to create our own purpose individually, but there is no supernatural planning or purpose for us In Hoseathiesm.
