    [Graphic Heads] CONTEST: DESIGN T-WEST A LOGO! DEADLINE: DECEMBER 8TH, 2006!

    DESIGN T-WEST A LOGO CONTEST!

    Are you a T-West fan and a graphic designer? Well then, it's time you let the world know. Short and simple, T-West is in need of a logo, and we want you to make it! The rules are simple...just keep it simple (I know it's corny haha). Really though. All you have to do is design a logo, and send your concept to: logo@thatkidwest.com




    You can find more information on T-West's Myspace page. There's a blog there with all of the information you need. As well as prizes, contest deadlines, and stuff.

    Ask the dude that did your mixtape cover. Seems pretty good. If you want like a professional logo, you'll probably wanna pay more than $50.

    while you do make a good point, i'm still confident that I can get a hot logo off of somebody on the internet for the contest that i'm running. I've seen two other artists run similar contests, and they had very good results.

    2nd, the guy who did my mixtape cover, he has been informed...but at the end of the day, the whole purpose of the contest is mainly for promotion. Now, I have a bunch of people from all over checking out my music who wouldn't normally find my website. In turn, I get more hits, my sponsors get happier, and I get paid.

    I'm certain some kid in college looking to make a few extra bucks, or somebody on a graphics forum will be more than hype to enter the contest.

    Get your hussle on playa, but just keep in mind most of these young'ins don't know how to give you a logo that you can use in professional level. And I'm talking visually, conceptually, and technically. Guaranteed, 90% of them will give you something that will only show up on the internet, that looks like a little banner.

    That's very true. I've taken that into consideration though. Hopefully at least a few submissions can come through with some logo's that I can atleast see myself using.

    U spoke some words of wisdom right there, for anybody who's thinking about this sort of thing.
