Sacred Scriptures Season 16: Battles and Cries Rules

1. Voting

-Regular Season-

You will no longer be required to write feedback for each verse. You can as a courtesy to the writers but there will be polls set up for each battle.

YOU MUST VOTE ON EACH BATTLE THAT IS NOT YOUR OWN!!!

There will be a point system installed as well.

Each completed week of voting on ALL BATTLES will give you 1 point. Feedback along with voting will give you an additional 1 point. (To earn this you must feedback on all battles for that week along with voting)

INTEGRITY IS GOLDEN SO PLEASE VOTE FAIRLY. VOTER FRAUD AND SWAYING IS AN AUTO BAN FROM THE LEAGUE!!!

-Playoff Series-

Voting will be the old style. Each vote must be followed by a feed. You must vote on the battles in your divisional playoff group.

MISSING ANY VOTES IN THE PLAYOFFS IS AN AUTO DQ.

2. Verses

-Line Count-

All verses must be between 20 to 48 lines or bars. NO PARAGRAPH FORM!! Anything over will take the 1 point for voting away. We don't want people to be turned off by long verses.

ALL VERSES MUST BE ORIGINAL AND NO RECYCLING...

3. Season Structure

The season will be based off of participants. You will face everyone twice. (8 participants = 16 weeks)

A week structure is as follows:

3 days to check in
5 days to post verse
2 days to vote

ALL DATES ARE 11:59 PACIFIC STANDARD TIME

NO EXTENSIONS. PERIOD.

There will be 2 divisions for battlers to compete with. They will be chosen at random.

-Playoff Series Structure-

The top seeds from each division will be the number one seeds. The seeding is depended on record, and if there are liked records, points will determine seed. If you are in the last seed and points and records are the same there will be a battle to enter the Playoff Series.
All battles are single elimination.

4. Special Abilities

This will consist of being able to choose your own topic to changing a bye week. The ability is endless as in effect and everyone who battles will at some point have a chance to use one. Division leaders may get extra abilities. This will be in effect Week 1.

5. Prizes

There will be additional prizes that will go to the Divisional Leaders for the regular season as well as the coveted Sacred Scriptures Ring...
