Verses are due Monday and will be open until Wednesday.
Battles that lack votes may close later.
One sided battles may get closed early.
Extensions are 24 hours



Line Limit:

Minimum of 10, maximum of 16 (unless higher limit agreed upon)
If not agreed upon, second drop must match length of the first.


Check ins are mandatory. Also, swaying/biting/recycling is a DQ.

Ehhh it's OK. Self personals are never as good as regular personals, and "mimic the plot" is kind of a weird thing to say. This one's a bit of a stretch for me

wp is OK but I don't like the 'pack a day habit' flip/ending, think you could have found something punchier for that... even just wording it to say HE has a pack a day habit/addiction or something would be better IMO

Alright current event line... 'blowing up' is a bit simple/done as a wp and I think you could have set up the concept without complimenting him as much

I got it tied with quotes…pleth closer was predictable. Hammer for justice was meh…grims writers block and closer was also meh but Grim had LOTB I gotta edge it to Grimm

Justice had pleth aura (weird how it still says his name but it worked regardless), wasn't a fan of Mimic the plot, writers block was ehhh ok, digging the Mario star, pack a day fell flat for me

Good showing from both. I have pleth winning with one more quotable. Acts 24:7 was fire and very original. You both had a flip on plot but I think Pleth’s was better. Grimm’s best line was the Mario star punch but I don’t think he was as consistent and I also think Pleth’s haymakers were stronger.
