Enjoyed this battle, mal was fuckin hilarious in places which was an approach I haven't seen from him to this extent but I fuck with it, Faq was consistent with it throughout & that Eureka bar was my favourite bar of the battle, although I think mal's semen bar will probably stay with me / haunt me for the foreseeable future. It's a close battle and may come down to preference with mal's being super clear-cut but amusing & Faq's being wordplay-heavy so I'm gonna leave it open til at least a couple of other people have voted but I'm gonna go with Faq on this, much respect to mal though, that was an experience.

Overall a decent battle, mal came direct and with a lot of light Jabs but not a real haymaker although those two bars I quoted were hard jabs. FAQ had a lot going on in his verse but I didn’t find it as direct as mals for the most part but his quotables were real nice, I’ve not heard mick foley line before so it’s fresh to me and I rated

YG, you’re aware you quoted FaQ’s explanation post, not his verse, right? Anyone else (except for KnoX) I’d assume they were trolling, but not so sure in your case.

Mal’s was amusing and his flow was clean, some nice wordplay elements. I like the variety in his verse. Dude’s shown a lot of growth over the course of the tourney which is to be commended.

FaQ’s had quite a lot more intricacy in the wordplay, which is something I fuck with. Really enjoyed his verse. I also appreciate the increased clarity of his writing recently, and glad he’s writing explanations now. Maybe a stylistic preference but I’ve got FaQ taking this one.
