and a swipe of a swinging dog tail opening doorways to faded oak shelves
lined up, one by one, a descending stairwell leading to a single point
founded upon an un-vacuumed carpet characterized with soda stains.
The railing contains splintered journeys that forcefully moved
It is within the time left to grow impatient nostalgia hits
On the back wall, dimmed light filters the joyous molecules welcoming home
This is where it will begin...
Time trickles slow,
like bleeding gums,
seep decay;
desensitized by years,
months, weeks, and days
Bringing forward yesterdays, I clear its clothes off a shelf
Bearing fruit from strange writers who long ago were spotlights
The spine collapse as the skin is penetrated
My eyes is embedded in the seeds of tilled wisdom and actions....
and before the thought
has fluttered awhile before my eyes
